Teens in AI proudly announces "Diversity Initiative of the Year Award 2025"!

We’re delighted and proud to announce that Teens in AI has won the “Diversity Initiative of the Year Award” at  The Great British Businesswoman Awards at a ceremony held in St Paul’s London on Thursday, 30 January 2025!

This award is a testament to our commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, and Empowering Under-represented young people in AI. 

It is an honour to be recognised for the impact we’re making in shaping a more equitable future in tech. Thank you to The Great British Businesswoman Awards for recognising us and for hosting such an amazing evening.

Elena Sinel Recognised Among Computer Weekly’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in UK Tech 2024!

We are delighted to announce that Elena Sinel, founder of Teens in AI, has been named one of Computer Weekly’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in UK Tech 2024!

Elena’s remarkable journey in technology began with the founding of Teens in AI, an initiative designed to empower young people to tackle real-world challenges using cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality. Her visionary work has inspired countless young individuals to leverage technology for social good.

Elena’s inclusion on this prestigious list is a testament to her unwavering commitment to innovation, education, and inclusivity within the technology sector.

Her achievements include other award wins for using AI for Social Good Projects, and has served as a key member of the education taskforce committee for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence in the UK. She is a business mentor at Microsoft for Startups, where she supports emerging entrepreneurs in navigating the tech landscape.

Before founding Teens in AI, Elena consulted for prominent organisations, including the British Council, various NGOs, the Chittagong Hill Tracts, and the Ethiopian Cultural Heritage Project.
