Microsoft Store to offer no-contract Nokia Lumia 635 on AT&T and T-Mobile
The low-budget LTE capable Nokia Lumia 635 will be available soon for pre-orders in the US as Microsoft has listed the smartphone on its online store. You will be able to pre-order the first Windows Phone 8.1 handset on AT&T or T-Mobile with pre-paid plans, without a contract. The price for the AT&T’s version is just $99 while T-Mobile is offering the device for $129.
Lumia 635, being one of the most affordable smartphones on the market, offers excellent specs for the price and all this is without a contract. The Windows Phone 8.1 handset has a 4.5 inch display with ClearBlack, Gorilla Glass 3 and a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. Other innards include a quad-core Snapdragon running at 1.2 GHz backed by 512MB of RAM. The storage capacity is 8GB but there is a microSD slot under the hood. Powered by an 1830 mAH battery, this device includes a 5MP camera on the back, capable of 720p video recording.
One of the main advantages of the Lumia 635 is the LTE support, so you can enjoy high-speed data transfer through T-Mobile or AT&T’s networks. Microsoft has not revealed information on when the phone will ship to consumers, but expect the launch date to be announced very soon.
