Lumia 640 is the current best-selling Windows Phone

The latest AdDuplex report shows that Windows 10 Mobile is already installed on 3.3% of all active smartphones, while the current official version Windows Phone 8.1 has a share of 78.1%. The report reveals that Windows 10 Mobile has grown by 0.7% compared with the previous month.

Microsoft is expected to present the final version of the mobile platform in early fall and then starts rolling it out to the existing Lumia smartphones, while the new generation of models will come with Windows 10 out of the box.

Other interesting figures from the report show that Lumia 640 has grown in popularity in many markets such as the US (8.8%), while the bigger 640 XL has been well accepted in India.

Lumia continues to dominate the market with a share of 96.81%, while all other manufacturers account for less than 3.2%.
